Cube Entertainment, which represents 4minute, B2ST, G.NA and BTOB, officially opened the doors of "Cube Studio" on April 10. According to allkpop, the private studio will be Cube Entertainment's foundation for global marketing strategies.
CEO Hong Seung Sung, former CEO of JYP Entertainment, gathered with the leaders of Cube Entertainment idol groups to commemorate the opening. Leaders of B2ST and 4minute, Yoon Doo Joon and Nam Ji Hyun, joined solo vocalist G.NA and Sung in the ribbon cutting ceremony.
"I created this place to instill a sense of bravery in our artists to help the Korean entertainment industry become one of the best," Sung said. "I hope that this studio will be the start of K-pop transcending Asia and taking place all over the world."
The studio, meant to further the growth of Cube Entertainment artists, features vocal, composition, performance, production and choreography facilities. According to Soompi, the café on the bottom floor will be a space where artists can "connect with their fans." Proceeds from the café will be donated to the Cube scholarship fund.
"Without communication, nothing can be achieved," Sung said at the press conference. "I want this location right here to be a stepping stone in advancing the entertainment industry."
